Cookie Policy

FleetMain sets two kinds of cookie: the handful needed to sign you in and take payment, which are always on, and Google Analytics and Ads cookies, which load only if you accept them. Every one of them is listed below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for a site to work at all, without one, we could not keep you signed in. Others watch how a site is used. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR we must tell you about both, and we may only set the second kind if you agree first.
2. Essential cookies
These are always on. They carry no analytics and are used only to make the service function.

Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so declining costs you nothing: refusing cookies does not itself set one.
Two display choices are kept the same way, in local storage on your own device: the light or dark appearance, once you pick one, and the fact that you closed a reminder banner for the day. Neither is a cookie and neither is sent to us.
3. Analytics and advertising cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use FleetMain, and a Google Ads tag to measure which advertising leads to sign-ups. These are not needed to run the service, they help us decide what to build and where to spend.

These cookies are set by Google, which acts as our processor for analytics and may transfer data outside the EEA under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Google's own terms are in its privacy policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with its browser add-on.
4. What we do not do
- We do not set advertising or profiling cookies inside the signed-in application beyond the measurement described above.
- We do not sell data collected by cookies, or share it with data brokers.
- We do not use cookies to read anything about your fleet, your drivers or your compliance records. That data never goes to Google.
5. Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time - re-opens the banner, and the same link sits in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops the tags loading and deletes the analytics cookies already on your device.
Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Note that blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in to FleetMain.
