Driver CPC and Tacho Card Reminders For Every Driver You Employ
FleetMain keeps each driver’s licence, Driver CPC card, tachograph card and ADR certificate in one place, and emails you 30, 14 and 7 days before any of them expires, so you hear about it before a driver can’t go out.
How driver dates get missed
- Driver dates follow the person, not the vehicle, so they never line up with your tax and CVRT dates.
- A Driver CPC card is only renewed once the driver’s 35 hours of training are recorded. Miss a year and no new card arrives.
- A driver can’t drive professionally while waiting for a new CPC card, so one missed date can leave a truck or bus idle.
- Tachograph driver cards last five years, which is long enough for everyone to forget them.
- New starters and agency drivers each bring their own dates, and a spreadsheet rarely keeps up.
What FleetMain does

A warning when you assign

Frequently asked questions
Which plan includes driver tracking?
Driver management is on the Business plan, €29 a month for up to 35 vehicles and 5 team seats, and on Fleet Pro. You can try Business free for 14 days with no card needed. All prices include VAT.
How often does a Driver CPC card need renewing?
The card lasts up to five years. It is renewed once the driver has done 35 hours of periodic training, one 7-hour module a year at an RSA-approved centre, and the RSA posts the new card.
Does it track the tachograph driver card and the vehicle’s calibration separately?
Yes. The driver card sits on the driver’s record and lasts five years. The tachograph calibration, due every two years, sits on the vehicle it is fitted to.
How do we get our drivers in?
